OPPO has now officially launched the OPPO A2 Pro, the latest addition to their A series in China. This phone follows the A1 Pro from last year. It features a large 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it runs on the Dimensity 7050 processor, offering up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 512 GB.
This phone boasts a powerful 64MP rear camera, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. It’s equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery that supports super-fast 67W charging. In just 20 minutes, you can charge it up to 54%, and it reaches a full 100% charge in just 42 minutes.
OPPO has given it an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and it features a sturdy Diamond anti-fall design meant to endure for four years. The company is so confident in its battery’s durability that they’re offering a special four-year battery replacement plan for a limited time. If you purchase the phone before October 8 and notice that the battery capacity drops below 80% within four years, you can get a free battery replacement. While OPPO has started displaying battery health information on some of its phones, the accuracy of this feature is not entirely clear.

The OPPO A2 Pro offers color choices like Vast Black, Desert Brown, and Twilight. It’s priced at 1799 yuan (around USD 250 or Rs. 20,820) for the 8GB + 256GB version, 1999 yuan (about USD 275 or Rs. 22,890) for the 12GB + 256GB model, and the highest-end version with 12GB + 512GB storage costs 2399 yuan (approximately USD 330 or Rs. 27,470).
