Xiaomi recently introduced the Redmi Note 13 Pro in China, alongside its counterparts, the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Unlike the previous generation, where the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus were nearly identical except for their primary cameras and charging capabilities, this time Xiaomi has made more distinct differences, especially in terms of design.
For instance, the Redmi Note 13 Pro boasts a flat display and a rear camera setup housed within a prominent module, setting it apart from the Pro Plus variant. However, both models share the same 6.67-inch display with a sharp 2,712 x 1,220-pixel (1.5K) resolution, a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro’s OLED screen offers impressive features like a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a 1,920 Hz PWM flicker rate.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro packs a 5,100 mAh battery with speedy 67 W wired charging. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. In the camera department, it appears to share the same specs as the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, with a 200 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 2 MP macro, and 16 MP front-facing cameras. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner but lacks an IP rating.
When it comes to colors, you can choose from Midnight Dark, Time Blue, Light Dream, and Star Sand White. The dimensions are 161.15 x 74.24 x 7.98 mm, and it weighs 187 g. The Redmi Note 13 Pro starts at CNY 1,399 (~US$192) in China for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant, making it notably more affordable than the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. The pricing for other configurations of the Redmi Note 13 Pro in regions outside China is yet to be confirmed.
