Mercedes Unveils 2025 EQS Electric Vehicle with S-Class Resemblance

Mercedes-Benz recently showed us its new 2025 EQS electric vehicle model. The standout feature is its redesigned grille, sporting chrome slats against a sleek black background, and the iconic standing star emblem on the hood. These changes bring the EQS closer in appearance to Benz’s renowned S-Class vehicles, marking a significant shift from its predecessor.

Apart from the striking resemblance to the S-Class, the 2025 EQS boasts upgrades focused on enhancing driver and passenger comfort. Additionally, Mercedes has equipped this model with a larger battery, promising improved range and performance for an even more enjoyable driving experience.

EQS 2025: Battery and Range

The 2025 EQS from Mercedes-Benz comes with a bigger and better battery, boasting a usable capacity of 118 kWh compared to the older model’s 108.4 kWh. This upgrade means the new EQS will offer an extended driving range. According to EPA estimates, the previous EQS model had a range of about 350 miles. Still, with the larger battery, Mercedes is expected to announce an even more extended range for the 2025 EQS.

Additionally, Mercedes has introduced new regenerative braking software in the 2025 EQS. This technology helps to recover more energy during braking, increasing the driving range, reducing wear on the brake discs, and providing a smoother pedal feel for the driver. These enhancements make the 2025 EQS a top choice for an electric vehicle with impressive performance and efficiency.

While Mercedes-Benz hasn’t yet revealed the exact price for the 2025 EQS model, industry experts anticipate that the starting price will be around $100,000 or more. This pricing estimate aligns with the luxury features and advanced technology expected in the EQS lineup. Stay tuned for official pricing updates as the vehicle’s launch date approaches later this year.
