How to Get and Use Brave Weapons in Destiny 2

Getting Brave weapons in Destiny 2 can take some effort. These new weapons include old favourites from Destiny, and they play a significant role in Into the Light. It’s an excellent chance to get weapons you might have missed or are no longer as powerful. Plus, it helps to have good gear before The Final Shape begins.

You can find chests in the Hall of Champions, but it might take time, and you won’t always get what you want. If you wish to use specific guns and want them to drop more often, you can complete attunement quests given by Arcite-99. These quests help you tune your loot drops to get your desired weapons. If you’re wondering how to get and attune Brave weapons in Destiny 2, the details below will explain everything.

Get Brave Weapons in Destiny 2

You can get Brave weapons in Destiny 2 by playing the new Onslaught activity and using Trophies of Bravery to open a chest in the Hall of Champions. But it’s tricky because you won’t always get what you want, especially with the different roles.

Luckily, there are special quests to get specific guns and add them to your collection. This lets you find rolls that work best for you or match what’s popular in the game. Right now, you can get only six guns this way, each with its own objectives. More guns will be available in the future, probably after a weekly reset.

These quests are good because you can do them while doing other things. In the “Feats of Bravery” quest in the Into the Light campaign, you’ll need to use Trophies of Bravery to open a chest near Shaxx. By doing this, I got the Succession sniper rifle, but your reward might differ.

Next, you’ll do “Stranger Danger,” the first Brave weapon quest. Finishing this quest gets you Elsie’s Rifle. This quest shows how these quests work: You have two goals and can choose which one you want to do first.

To get Elsie’s Rifle in Destiny 2, you have two options. You can defeat enemies using pulse rifles anywhere in the game world, with extra progress in the Onslaught activity. Or, you can defeat enemies in Vanguard Ops activities using pulse rifles. Doing harder Nightfalls gives you even more progress.

Here are five other Brave weapon quests you can do in Destiny 2:

  1. Recluse Endangerment – The Recluse
    • Quickly defeat enemies with submachine guns anywhere in the game. You get extra progress in Onslaught mode.
    • Defeat other players using submachine guns.
    • After the quest, check our guide for The Recluse to learn about the best rolls.
  2. Jury Duty – Hung Jury SR4
    • Defeat enemies with precise shots using scout rifles anywhere in the game. You get extra progress in Onslaught mode.
    • Defeat enemies in Vanguard Ops using scout rifles. You earn more progress in harder Nightfall.
  3. Right of Succession – Succession
    • Defeat enemies with precise shots using sniper rifles anywhere in the game. You get extra progress in Onslaught mode.
    • Defeat enemies in raids and dungeons using sniper rifles.
  4. Edgelord – Edge Transit
    • Quickly defeat enemies using heavy ammo grenade launchers anywhere in the game. You get extra progress in Onslaught mode.
    • Defeat enemies using heavy ammo grenade launchers.
  5. Spin to Win – Falling Guillotine
    • Quickly defeat enemies using swords anywhere in the game. You get extra progress in Onslaught mode.
    • Defeat enemies using swords.

You can start working on the quests mentioned above whenever you want.

Attuning Brave Weapons in Destiny 2

You have the choice to complete either goal in every Brave weapon quest. Return to the Hall of Champions when you finish one, and the pursuit moves to the next step.

When you’re back in the hall, find and talk to the matching Holo-Shaxx. Keep your quest tracked so you know where to go. Once you finish this step, you’re good to go.

Afterwards, you’ll have a better chance of getting the corresponding weapon as loot from all Brave weapon sources, like the chest near Shaxx.

That’s all you must do to attune Brave weapons in Destiny 2. Complete the quests quickly to get the best rolls before The Final Shape arrives.
