This month, there are plenty of exciting games coming out to keep you entertained!

Some games, like the friendly MMO Palia, the sci-fi trading card NFT game Parallel, and Yuga Labs’ Legends of the Mara, are giving players a chance to try them out early. But, there are also lots of big AAA games that will be fully available in September.

Starfield

Starfield is a big sci-fi action game made by the folks behind Fallout and Elder Scrolls (Skyrim), and Bethesda Game Studios. It’s their first brand-new game in almost 30 years, and the sneak peeks we’ve seen in trailers and gameplay videos have got a lot of people really excited.

In this game, you can go on space adventures, design your own spaceships and characters, make up your own story, and explore more than 1,000 planets, with 100 of them having some kind of life.

Starfield is coming out on September 6 for most folks, but if you bought the Premium Edition, you could start playing on September 1. It’s available for Windows PC and Xbox Series X and S. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, you can jump in right when it releases.

EA Sports FC 24

Are you a soccer fan? Well, Electronic Arts is launching its new soccer game, EA Sports FC 24, on September 29. But if you grab the Ultimate Edition, you can start playing as early as September 22. You’ll be able to enjoy EA Sports FC 24 on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Series X and S.

EA Sports FC 24 is the latest soccer game from EA, and it’s a bit different from their previous FIFA games. They’ve started something new after their partnership with FIFA ended last year. In this game, you can mix female players with the male ones on your teams. And the game has a huge lineup of 19,000 real players and offers you 100 different stadiums to play in.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis

Good news for Final Fantasy fans! There’s a new mobile game coming soon called Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. It’s coming out on Android and iOS on September 7, and the best part is, it’s free to play.

In Ever Crisis, you’ll get to experience three new stories that dive deeper into young Sephiroth’s background and where he comes from. But that’s not all! This game also brings together lots of stuff from various FF7 games, like the old PlayStation classic and spin-offs like The First Soldier, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and even the movie “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Cyberpunk 2077, the open-world action RPG by CD Projekt Red, originally came out in 2020. Now, with the Phantom Liberty expansion on the horizon, there’s a chance it could be a big improvement. Since the game had some issues when it was first released, this expansion might just be what players need to get excited about it again.

The Phantom Liberty expansion is bringing lots of cool stuff to the game like new places to explore, more missions to complete, fancy outfits, and some new gadgets. And here’s a big deal: You can now fight while driving in your vehicles, shoot from your car, use weapons attached to your ride, and even hack other cars to take them down. Plus, there’s a free update for all players coming out on the same day, whether you get the expansion or not!

NBA 2K24

Craving some NBA action before the new season begins? NBA 2K24 is the basketball game you’re looking for. It’s coming out on September 8 for Windows PCs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4/5, and the Nintendo Switch.

This game is officially licensed and has a bunch of NBA and WNBA players you can pick to play with. You can collect virtual card packs and trade them online but don’t worry, they’re not NFTs. NBA 2K24 is also adding some new skills and improving shooting, adrenaline boosts, and takeovers. Plus, here’s something cool: For the first time ever, players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S can play against each other thanks to cross-play.

Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 is actually the 12th game in the classic fighting series. It’s coming out on September 14 for Windows PCs, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. When it launches, you’ll get to play with 20 different characters, including some of the original fighters like Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden.

Mortal Kombat 1 looks really exciting, with top-notch animation and lots of magic and blood for that extra thrill. This game from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. seems like a 2023 twist on the classic series, bringing you intense 1v1 fights in various cool locations.
