In India, Google has unveiled its plans for the upcoming Pixel 8 series, which includes the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. The announcement comes shortly after the company’s annual hardware event was scheduled for October 4. Following this event, Google has now confirmed the date for pre-orders of the Pixel 8 series smartphones in India.
As per Google’s announcement, you’ll be able to pre-order the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones in India beginning on October 5, 2023. The exclusive pre-order option will be available on Flipkart. This information was shared by Google through a post on their official Google India page on X, previously known as Twitter.
In a short video shared by the company, it’s clear that the upcoming Pixel 8 series phones will have a design similar to last year’s Pixel 7 series, including the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
The Pixel 8 Pro will be available in a Porcelain color variant and will feature a triple camera setup with dual LED flash on the rear. Meanwhile, the standard Pixel 8 will come in an orange color variant and will sport a dual camera setup with LED flash on the back.
