Game Preview: Saints vs. Bears
After a strong 38-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, the New Orleans Saints (4-4) are aiming to push their record above .500 and maintain their top spot in the NFC South when they face the Chicago Bears (2-6) this Sunday at noon.
The Saints hold a 17-13 lead in the regular season series against the Bears, one of 11 teams they have a winning record against. They’ve also secured one win in three postseason matchups, notably triumphing in the 2020 NFC Wild Card game. Furthermore, they’re looking to extend their regular-season winning streak against the Bears to seven games. The Saints have emerged victorious in the last six meetings, including a 26-23 overtime win on November 1, 2020, at Soldier Field. This six-game regular-season winning streak against the Bears is their longest against any opponent.
Out of the 30 regular season clashes in their history, 15 have been decided by eight points or less. When playing at the Superdome, New Orleans has a 6-2 regular season record against the Bears.
